New Dementia Unit at Oakmont Lodge

Opened in September 2020, our dementia unit at Oakmont Lodge is a 24-bed extension, specially designed to cater to the complex needs of residents living with various forms of dementia.

Understanding the different stages that residents living with the day to day challenges of dementia go through, we have designed a home from home that facilitates freedom and assists residents in maintaining skills, abilities and an active social life.

Luxurious living spaces and commodious dining areas provide comfort, warmth and the opportunity to socialize with other residents, whilst a sensory garden complete with leading pathways, ambient lighting and manicured flowerbeds provides the ideal outdoor space for exercise and a breath of fresh air.

At Oakmont Lodge, we are dedicated to enhancing the everyday lives of our residents, supporting them through their journey with dementia, and providing a safe, secure living environment that promotes independence.
