Choosing the right care home is one of the most important decisions you can make for yourself or for your loved one. At Dunluce Healthcare, we understand this is a very personal experience and we place you and your family at the heart of everything that we do.

We understand that the requirements of our residents are unique, and we focus on identifying their individual needs, starting with the category of care required.

Nursing care

Nursing care is best suited to individuals who require regular medical attention, or specialised or palliative care from a registered nurse, and who can no longer live at home. We have a team of specialist nurses and qualified care assistants on duty 24 hours a day to meet these needs and make our residents comfortable.

Residential Care

Residential care is an ideal option for individuals who may require some level of support in fulfilling everyday tasks but who wish to retain their independence.

Our luxurious residential accommodation facilitates independent living, but with the reassurance that assistance is on-site, 24 hours a day, should it be required.

Respite & Convalescent Care

Respite care enables carers to take a short break from their responsibilities, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is looked after in a secure, comfortable, and luxurious environment.

Within our homes, residents can avail of respite care allowing them to socialise with other residents, participate in social activities and experience life within a care facility which may help them make a more informed decision should they be considering full-time residency.

Mental Health

We believe mental health conditions can present challenges that do not mean life cannot be fulfilling. Every individual faces their own unique challenging health condition.

That is why we have the facilities along with well trained staff to offer practical support with every day tasks to enable people to live an awarding and more independent life.

Dementia Care

Individuals who live with dementia need not just specialist care but also specialist surroundings. People living with dementia can suffer all areas of sensory perception problems that make everyday life very difficult. Our specialist dementia units are designed for comfort and safety whilst still accommodating the preferences and lifestyle of our residents.

This includes the new 24-bed dementia unit opened at Oakmont Lodge in 2020.
